Oahu's Best, Private, Personal Tour Guide

        Papa Al

Lanikai Beach, voted #1 in the world

Take the worry, the endless studying, deciding, arguing, the lack of local knowledge out of your trip to Hawaii.  On Oahu, there is a guide waiting for you.  Someone who can personalize your tour to your specific interests.  Tell you where to eat.  Keep you from getting lost.

Everybody wants a special taste of Hawaii, not just the run of the mill tourist thing.  If that's you, this tour is for you.

Come and spend time with Papa Al.  Meet a real local person.  Sing a few songs.  Awaken old memories and important dreams.  Take back something from Papa Al's book, "Stuff Nobody Told Me."

You can tailor your tour for a whole day, half day or evening.  Papa Al will meet you at your Waikiki Hotel. You must provide the rental van or car for your tour..

NEW!! We can show you some sites related to Barack Obama: the apartment that Toots, his grandmother lived, Punahou, the school he attended, Kapiolani Hospital, where he was born, Baskin and Robbins, where he had one of his first jobs, and Young Street, where he strolled pensively during his last visit to Toots.

SPECIAL:  Papa Al has just developed a new Elvis Tour!  See the exact Honolulu locations for Elvis in Hawaii.  The spot where Elvis had his shack in Blue Hawaii, the scene overlooking Diamond Head where he sings with a ukulele. The shot with Chinaman's Hat in the background in Paradise Hawaiian Style, and Elvis on the tuna boat in Girls Girls Girls.

Note. Papa Al knows the Island of Oahu inside out. You provide the car and passengers. Papa will do the driving and will show you where to go and what to see. There is no itinerary. You plan the day with Papa according to your interests. It is a custom tour. He may suggest a hike through a stream bed or through a bamboo forest. You may swim under a waterfall in a fresh water pool... or enjoy a picnic at a remote beach. He may suggest a snorkel at the best locations, explore the little roads and towns off the beaten paths. Papa will share a wealth of knowledge about Hawaiian History or his book. With very little encouragement, he will sing Hawaiian or his personally composed songs of Hawaii and the sea.
